TV anime "Dried-up sister! Umaru-chan" performed 13 character songs at the event!　The event will be included in BD/DVD volume 6!

From the TV anime "Umaru-chan! Umaru-chan," a report from the event "Banquet THE FINAL ~And to the Legend~" held on December 13th has arrived.

Umaru-chan! Umaru-chan" is an anime work based on the manga series published in Weekly Young Jump by Sankaku Head. It is an everyday comedy centering on "Hinomoto-sama," or "dried-up sister," Umaru Tsuchima, who is a talented and impeccable high school girl on the outside but spends her time at home playing games and reading manga, and her caring older brother, Taihei. Directed by Masahiko Ota ("YuruYuri" and "Minamike"), series composition by Takashi Asashi ("YuruYuri" and "Minamike"), character design by Aya Takano, and produced by Video Studio.

On December 13, the event "Banquet: The Final - And to the Legend" will be held at the Wako Shimin Bunka Center in Saitama Prefecture. Tickets were sold out in advance, and more than 1,000 fans gathered. In the packed hall, the four-member unit "Sister S" (Aimi Tanaka playing Umaru Tsuchima, Akira Kageyama playing Nana Ebina, Haruka Shiraishi playing Kirie Honba, and Yurina Furukawa playing Sylphine Ford Tachibana) and Kenji Nojima playing Tahei, the older brother, appeared on stage. The event started with the opening theme "Kakushin-teki☆Memaru Fuu-ze!" (Aimi Tanaka), which has created a big buzz since the start of the anime broadcast and has sold 20,000 CDs and has been viewed over 5 million times on Youtube. The live performance by Seina S continued, with a total of 13 Umaru songs, ranging from a medley of solo "character songs" inspired by each character to unit songs based on various themes such as a fair or Halloween, along with dances practiced just for this occasion. In the middle of the event, the audience was treated to a reenactment of "Daranama," a variety show that was broadcast weekly on the web from July to October. First, a video clip of Kenji Nojima, Hiroki Yasumoto as Bomba, Tetsuya Kakihara as Alex, and Ami Koshimizu as Chief Kano from the anime cast was shown on the screen, and then the four of them made a surprise request to Seina S. Kenji Nojima led the corner, and Sei S struggled with wearing an afro wig and dancing with a burdock in her hand. In addition, the favorite scene from the main anime chosen by Seo S was also shown, which enlivened the audience.
In the second half of the live part, the Christmas-themed unit song "X'mas Decoration" (included in the BD&DVD volume 4 as the first bonus CD) was performed for the first time in Japan. The event then came to an end with messages from each of the cast members expressing their gratitude to the fans. Aimi Tanaka, the lead actress, said, "Through this work "Umaru-chan," I have been able to see many different kinds of people! Umaru-chan," she said, "I have experienced and discovered many things through this work, I have been able to meet all the members of Seina S, the co-stars, and the staff, and now I am able to hold an event like this with the fans who support the work and us. Everything has been a big step forward. Umamaru and I were really happy! Thank you!" and went on to the finale with "Hidamari Days," the ending theme song of the TV anime. The cast members' voices and tears were met with loud applause.
After that, the cast members appeared on stage again in response to the audience's encore, and the cast and the entire audience sang "Kakushin-teki☆Megamaru Fu~ze!
