NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, "Anime Kohaku" featuring popular anime characters! Contestant singers will face off in anime songs!

NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen," a national singing program, has announced a special project, "Anime Kohaku.



This is a special stage project in which popular animations of the past will come together on the stage of the "66th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen" to be broadcast on New Year's Eve 2015. Maruko ("Chibi Maruko-chan") and Whisper ("Yokai Watch") will serve as hosts for the red and white groups, respectively, and Haruka Ayase and Yoshihiko Inohara, the overall hosts, will join them for a splendid collaborative hosting.


The competing singers will then compete in an ani-song showdown.
