TV anime "My Hero Academia" to start in April 2016!　PV with hero costumes and character voices also released!

The TV anime "My Hero Academia" will start airing in April 2016. New cast members and character drawings have also been revealed.

My Hero Academia" is an anime work based on the manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Kohei Horikoshi. Set in a world where 80% of the world's population has some kind of idiosyncrasy, the story follows the protagonist, who has no idiosyncrasy of any kind, as he aims to become a hero against criminals who abuse his idiosyncrasy. The original series has sold more than 2 million copies in its first year of serialization and has become a "Jump Royal Road" series with its strong message and unique characters. Directed by Kenji Nagasaki, series composition by Yosuke Kuroda, character design by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and animation production by BONES.

The broadcast start date has been set for April 2016. New cast members and character drawings have also been released. Ochako Reichi will be played by Ayane Sakura and Tenya Iida by Kaito Ishikawa. The new character sketches show the main character, Izuhisa Midoriya, played by Daiki Yamashita, Katsumi Bakugou, played by Nobuhiko Okamoto, and the two aforementioned characters, all in hero costumes. A new video showing the voices of the five characters, including All Might played by Kenta Miyake, is also on view.
