Winter anime "Bubuki Blanke" to air New Year's special program! Free copies will be distributed at Comiket 89!

A New Year's special program has been announced for the TV anime "Bubuki Blanki," which will start in January 2016.



Bubuki Blanki" is an original anime produced by KADOKAWA and Sanzigen to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the animation studio "Sanzigen". It is a battle fantasy depicting the battles of boys and girls who have acquired different powers through "Bubuki," a weapon with a will, and is produced entirely in full CG animation. Directed by Daisuke Komatsuda, assistant director of "Evangelion," with character design by Yusuke Kozaki, blanke design by Tatsuya Yoshikawa, series composition and screenplay by Jiro Ishii and Yukinori Kitajima, and music by Katsu Yokoyama.

A New Year's special program will be broadcast prior to the start of the broadcast. It will be titled "Bubuki Blanki #Zero: The creators talk about the world of 'Bubuki Blanki'" and will feature interviews with the people involved and anime footage. The program will be broadcast on TOKYO MX from 22:00 on January 2, on Sun TV from 25:30 on January 3, on TV Aichi from 26:35 on January 4, on KBS Kyoto from 25:30 on January 2, on BS11 from 25:30 on January 3, and on AT-X from 23:00 on January 2 (repeat: 18:00 on January 3 and 15:00 on January 5). January 5 at 15:00~ and January 8 at 7:00~).


In addition, special starter leaflets will be distributed free of charge at the KADOKAWA booth (Booth No. 561) and the Good Smile Company booth (Booth No. 521) at Comic Market 89 (December 29-31 at Tokyo Big Sight). They will also include comments from the director and cast.
