P.A.WORKS original TV anime "Chromium Chromium" to start by the end of 2016!　Mecha action work directed by Tensai Okamura

TV anime "Chromium Chromium Chromium" has been announced; it will begin airing by the end of 2016.

This is an original TV anime produced to commemorate the 15th anniversary of P.A.WORKS. P.A.WORKS original works such as "Hanasaku Iroha," "Nagi no Asukara," and "Shirobako" have depicted the growth, suffering, and joys of young people, but this time the story will be a school mecha action with robots.

Directed by Tensai Okamura ("DARKER THAN BLACK"), series composition by Ryo Higaki ("Another," "Utopian Family," "009 RE: CYBORG"), and character design by Yuriko Ishii ("Persona: Trinity Soul," "Nagi no Asukara"). The cast includes Yohei Azaue as the main character Kennosuke Tokisada Aoma, M.A.O. as Yukina Shirouha, and Rena Ueda as Sophie Noel. Below are their comments and the first PV.

Yohei Azaue Comment
Before playing Kennosuke, I was filled with anxiety, but every time I play him, I feel strangely encouraged, and I certainly feel that I am moving forward with him step by step. I would be very happy if you could witness his way of life with your own eyes. Thank you very much.

M・A・O Comment
My name is M.A.O. and I play the role of Yukina Shirouha. The title "Chromium Chromium" had a great impact on me and stirred my imagination in many ways. As it is an original work, I myself am very much looking forward to seeing how it will turn out. I will do my best so as not to spoil the charm of the characters!
