The animated version of "Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt", episode 2 will be available on February 12, 2016! Gundam Fan Club will start on January 29th.

The second episode of the OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt" will be released on February 12, 2016.


Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt" is an anime work based on Yasuo Otagaki's manga serialized in Big Comics Superior. Sunrise Studio 1, which produced "Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn)," will produce the series, and Kou Matsuo of "Revolutionary Machine Valvrave" will direct and write the script. The series consists of four episodes, and the first episode will be distributed for a fee from December 25 (December 11 on the official smartphone application "Gundam Fan Club").

In conjunction with the release of the first episode on December 25 at 12:00 pm, information on the second episode has been released. The second episode will be distributed on February 12, 2016 at 12:00 pm (January 29 at 12:00 pm in the Gundam Fan Club). The price is yet to be determined. The price of the first episode is 500 yen plus tax for EST distribution and 250 yen plus tax for TVOD distribution.

<Episode 2 Story
Daryl and his team cooperate with Professor Kara's research on reusable P-devices. Meanwhile, Captain Burroughs of the Living Dead Division, who has been ordered to defend the Thunderbolt space against the threat of Io's Full Armor Gundam, decides to launch an experimental machine that can defeat the enemy Gundam and selects a pilot to be its final component. Daryl was chosen as the pilot and was forced to amputate his remaining right hand. Kara refuses to undergo the procedure at first, but is persuaded by Sexton to save her father's life in the home country. The fate of the division rests in the hands of Psycho Zaku, who is equipped with the Re-Use P-Device, and Daryl, who has lost his arm.
