City Hunter" specs glasses are now available! Inspired by Colt Python 357 Magnum and Haibo Sunglasses, supervised by Tsukasa Hojo

This is a new series of "City Hunter" collaboration glasses, which were released in 2013 as a collaboration project to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the "Coolens" eyeglass brand, and were sold out by reservation. This time, two products will be released in limited quantities to commemorate the 30th anniversary of "City Hunter.

The model of the main character, Ryo Saeba, uses a metal front design reminiscent of a bullet. The streamlined form fits Japanese people's faces, evoking the sense of speed and agility of Ryo Saeba's movements. The temples are made of wood-grained acetate that reproduces the grip of his favorite weapon, the Colt Python 357 Magnum. This gives the glasses a mature and sexy look. The frames come in two colors: hairline silver and matte black. The product will go on sale at the end of March.

The "Umibou" or Falcon model is a pair of sunglasses made of ultra-thick high-grade acetate. The original sunglasses are reproduced in human scale, not only in shape but also in rim thickness and plate thickness. The frames come in two colors: black and matte black. These will be released at the end of January.

Both frames will be priced at 8,000 yen plus tax, and come with a special eyeglass case that can be used as a eyeglass tray by fastening the four corners with buttons, and one of three types of eyeglass wipes featuring a new visual by Tsukasa Hojo, the author of the original novel. The glasses can be pre-ordered and sold at 17 Coolens stores nationwide and at the Comic Zenon online store.
