The highlight is the heated dance battle and buttocks! Anime Film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm", Stage Greeting Report
A stage greeting report has arrived from the anime film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm," which will be released on January 9.
KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" is a spin-off of the popular male unit "Over The Rainbow" from the TV anime "Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live" that aired from April 2013 to March 2014. The story is about Koji (CV: Tetsuya Kakihara), Hiro (CV: Tomoaki Maeno), and Kazuki (CV: Toshiki Masuda) as they take on new challenges in the "Prism King Cup" held once every four years. The catch copy is "Go beyond the rainbow!" . Directed by Masakazu Hishida, script by Yuzuru Aoba, CG director Yoshihiro Otobe, character draft and design by Mai Matsuura, and produced by Tatsunoko Productions.
The film opened to the public on January 9, with stage greetings held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on the opening day and at Yokohama Burg 13 on the following day, January 10. The director and voice actors took the stage and talked about the highlights of the film and episodes from the recording sessions. The voice actors also made appeals for the characters they are in charge of for the "Next Generation Prism Star Selection General Election," a character voting project. Below is the report.
The visitor's bonus is "Prism Change☆ Clear File" for the first week, "Over The Rainbow mini card" for the second week, and "Famous scene film-style bookmark" for the third week.
The theater version of "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" (abbreviated as "Kimpuri") opened in theaters nationwide on January 9 (Sat). To commemorate the opening, the main cast took the stage at Shinjuku Wald 9 on the opening day, the 9th, and at Yokohama Burg 13 on the following day, the 10th, to greet the audience.
The first to take the stage on the opening day on the 9th were Junta Terashima, who plays Shin Ichijo, one of the main characters, Yu Hatanaka, who plays Taiga Kagami, Masashi Igarashi, who plays Minato Takahashi, Takarashi, Takuma Nagatsuka, who plays Leo Saionji, Yu Uchida, who plays Yu Ryono, and Masanobu Hishida, who plays Yu Ryono. Director Masakazu Hishida, and Yu Uchida, who plays Yu Ryono.
When asked by the MC about the characters they play, Mr. Terashima revealed that Shin is a physical character with a lot of shouting and reactions, and that he was told by the director to "feel more with your whole body. Ms. Nagatsuka shared her memories of being told that Leo was a younger sister-type boy and that he was the "heroine" of Kimpuri because of his cuteness. Yu, played by Uchida, is the only character from "Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live," the predecessor to "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm," who has grown up in the two years since the Rainbow Live broadcast ended. She has grown up in the two years since the end of Rainbow Live, and is a tsundere but family-oriented character.
When asked about the highlights of the film, Igarashi spoke enthusiastically about how happy he was to work with Daisuke Namikawa from the same agency for the first time, while Hatanaka said the highlight was the intense dance battle scene between Kazuki (CV: Toshiki Masuda) and Alexander (CV: Shunsuke Takeuchi). The 3DCG dance battle scene is a must-see, not to be missed even for a minute, especially for male viewers.
Director Hishida wants viewers to see the "buttocks," so be sure to come to the theater to check out which scene he is talking about.
There was also a scene where the audience was excited about the "General Election for the Next Generation Prism Star Selection," a voting project that is being held in conjunction with the main feature film. The "Next Generation Prism Star Selection Election" is a general election to select the most inspiring and sparkling character among the young prism star candidates (Shin, Yukinojo, Taiga, Minato, Leo, Yu, Rui, and Alec), which will actually be held in the main show. The "PRISM KING CUP" is held once every four years and is originally an Olympic-like event in which only selected stars can compete, but the star candidates who win in this general election are given special seeding rights to compete in the "PRISM KING CUP.
The time was set aside for the candidates to appeal for their own characters to win the Grand Prix, but many of them nominated characters they were more interested in than the one they were playing, and Ms. Igarashi was the only one who appealed for her own character. In closing, Mr. Terashima said, "The cast members want to see more of this work, so please support us and let us see what happens next." The light-hearted talk by the six actors kept the audience laughing from start to finish.
On the following day, the 10th, in addition to Terashima-san who played Shin Ichijo, Souma Saito who played Yukinojo Tachibana, and Taku Yashiro who played Kakeru Juouin took the stage and talked about the characters and highlights of the show, as well as Yukinojo's "sister-type boy," Leo (CV. Nagayo). The three impersonated Leo (CV. Takuma Nagatsuka), a "sister-type boy," and talked about how they are often together. Despite being a male character, Leo has the appearance and voice of a cute girl, and the audience was surprised at how the performers were able to imitate him so well. The audience was surprised to learn that Ms. Terashima, who is particularly fond of Leo among the cast members, has been practicing her imitation of Leo. He also introduced some interesting points, such as the fact that Kakeru, played by Mr. Yashiro, is a so-called "flirtatious guy" who usually speaks and acts lightly, but in serious scenes, Kakeru actually delivers some impressive and heavy lines. He talked about the hidden gap between his light-hearted personality and the seriousness behind it. Kakeru's real name is Kazuo (Kazuo), but he calls himself Kakeru because he is a dork. During the appeal time for the "Next Generation Prism Star Election," Ms. Terashima ranked her favorite character Leo first and Shin, who plays the role of Leo, second. It must have been an irresistible appeal time for the fans. A raffle was also held on the day of the event, with posters autographed by the three winners being given away.
The three members of the group talked in a friendly atmosphere, and they all commented, "Please continue to support Kimpuri! and the two days of stage greetings came to an end.
