Spring Anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" Reveals Scene Photos!　Cup noodles for 100 people arrived at the production site!

The first scene from the TV anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle," which starts in April, has been released.

Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" is a new original anime that was announced at the "Noitamina Project Presentation 2015" held in November 2014. It is a steampunk action series set in the island nation of Hinomoto, where steam engines have developed, and depicts boys and girls boarding the armored steam locomotive "Kouetsujo" to fight against the "Kabaneri," or living corpses with hearts of steel. Haruhiko Mikimoto of "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" fame is the original character designer, and WIT STUDIO is in charge of production. The cast includes Yu Hatanaka as Ikoma, the heroine Mumyo, Ayaka Sembongi, Shobu, Marei Uchida, Toshiki Masuda, Kurusu, Yuki Kaji, Kanae Oki, Yuna, Mariya Ise, Ryota Osaka as Sugari, Kensuke Sato as Kibi-do, and Mamoru Miyano as Mima. The first set of scene photos has been unveiled. The first set of scenes, showing the characters' facial expressions and battle scenes with the eerie enemy Kabane, can be seen. In addition, an icon distribution campaign and the first round of donations to the production staff from the "Hinomoto Kabaneri Kabaneri Project," in which ticket purchasers for the special advance edition "Kabaneri the Iron Castle: Introduction" can participate, will also be implemented. The icon distribution campaign is a project whereby ticket buyers can receive an original Kabaneri SNS icon by sending a Kabaneri coupon number (found in the e-mail sent by Ticket Pia) and a photo of themselves. In the project to provide food for production staff, for every 1,000 people who participate in the project, WIT STUDIO will receive food for 100 people at the production site*. In addition, the special advance edition of "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle: Introduction" will be presented in the form of miniature color paper. The paper will be newly drawn by animation character designer Yasuyuki Ehara.
