OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin III: Dawn Uprising" to be screened on May 21!　BD/DVD information also revealed!

The screening date of the OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin III: Dawn Uprising" has been set for May 21, and BD/DVD information has also been released.

This is the third chapter of the "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin" manga series by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the character designer and animation director of the first Gundam, which began airing in 1979. This time, the story depicts Edwau Mas, who left the Texas Colony and entered the Defense Academy of the Autonomous Republic of Zeon as Char Aznable, as he deepens his friendship with his classmate Garma, a sergeant in the Zabi family, and the students' armed uprising against the Earth Federation security forces in a bid for independence. The film continues with Yoshikazu Yasuhiko as general director and character designer, Takashi Imanishi as director, Hajime Katoki as mechanical designer, and Hiroyuki Nishimura as chief animation director. Garma Zabi is played by Tetsuya Kakihara, Lino Fernandez by Tomoaki Maeno, Trenov Y. Minovsky by Naoki Bando, and Zena Mia by Ai Chino.

A two-week limited event screening will be held at 15 theaters nationwide from May 21, and advance sales and paid distribution of the BD first-run limited edition will begin on the same day. The BD first-run limited edition will come with the following special features. Priced at 10,000 yen. The general release date is June 10.
