JR East Japan x Kaiyodo to create figures of "Akihabara Electric Town! in the Yamanote Line series of regional limited edition local capsule figures.

Akihabara Electric Town will be made into a figure and released by JR East Retail Net on February 12.



This is one of a series of prizes in the Yamanote Line series from "Lucky Drop," a line of capsule figures created by Kaiyodo to capture the unique culture and attractions of various regions in Japan. The Yamanote Line series includes figures of famous landmarks and landmarks such as Tokyo Station's Marunouchi Station Building, Shibuya Station's Hachiko, Shinbashi Station's SL Plaza, Ueno Zoo's Giant Panda, Ueno's Anmitsu Mimashi, and Akihabara Station's Akihabara Electric Town. The "Akihabara Electric Town" figure reproduces the elevated bridge of the Sobu Line connecting Akihabara Station and Ochanomizu Station, as well as the Electric Town.

The price is 400 yen per unit. The product will be sold at major JR stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area, including capsule vending machines installed in stations, as well as at echinka stores such as NewDays and Book Express.


The Ibaraki series will also go on sale on February 12. The lineup includes the 485 series limited express "Hitachi," the "Girls und Panzer" anime series, the "Mito Koumon Sukesan Tadasan" statue at Mito Station, "Anko no Hashikiri," "H-IIA Rocket," "Natto" and "Mukona-kun," and will be sold at major JR stations in Ibaraki, Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa and Chiba prefectures, and at tourist facilities and "Mukona-kun" at tourist facilities in Ibaraki Prefecture. In addition, the Michinoku series will go on sale in the six Tohoku prefectures in late April, the East Japan Railway Collection series in all of East Japan in the spring, and the Joshinetsu series in Gunma, Nagano, and Niigata in the fall.
