Here is a report on a hit prayer from the TV anime "Anhappi♪," which will start in the spring of 2016.
Anhappi♪" is an anime work based on a manga serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward by Kotoji. It is an encouraging comedy that depicts the lives of unhappy girls in a high school class where they are gathered together to become "happy". Directed by Shin Onuma of "Fate/ kaleid liner Prisma Illya," series composition by Hitoshi Tanaka of "Go! Princess Pretty Cure," character design and chief animation director by Miwa Oshima of "Baka to Test to Summoner". Animation production is by SILVER LINK.
A hit prayer was held at the Tokyo Grand Shrine in preparation for the start of the broadcast in spring. Yumiri Hanamori, who plays Anzu Hanakoizumi in "Unlucky," attended the event on behalf of the cast, and it looks like the disaster will be averted outside of the main anime. Below is the report.
Yumiri Hanamori, who plays An Hanakoizumi, represented the cast at a prayer ceremony at the Tokyo Daijingu Shrine, which was crowded with people on the day of great peace and prosperity, to pray for the hit TV anime "Anhappi♪," which will begin airing in spring 2016. In a solemn atmosphere, Hanamori-san, dressed in a prayer robe, sat nervously in the hall of worship. A Shinto priest recited a prayer for the success of his work, and a miko (shrine maiden) performed a beautiful okagura (Shinto music and dancing) for the success of the film. Mr. Hanamori himself offered a tamagushi to the god and prayed for a hit. After the prayer, we decided to draw "Hana-mikuji," an omikuji for good luck and good fortune, on which we could write our wishes. You can find out if it turned out to be good or bad in the interview below. In addition, we were able to get "Hanamamori," a lucky charm for each of the five cast members, which is awarded at the Tokyo Grand Shrine according to their birth month, so there was no doubt that we would be a hit! After the prayer for a hit was done without a hitch, Mr. Hanamori went to the shrine for his personal New Year's visit...
-How did you feel after participating in the prayer?
This was the first time for me to participate in the prayer, and I was wondering if it would be all right for me to represent the company in the solemn ceremony dressed in a prayer robe. I felt that the year had finally come when everyone would be able to watch the show. I also prayed for a hit, and I also received a cup of sake, but since I am underage, I cannot drink it yet, so I only received a token gift. I think I have improved my rank as an adult.
The result of the "Hana-mikuji" I drew at the Tokyo Grand Shrine was a good one.
I was told beforehand that I was going to draw a "Hana-mikuji" and that I should draw either a "big bad" or "big good" fortune, but when I half-jokingly said, "No, it's Yumiri Hanamori who dares to draw a good fortune here," it really turned out to be a good fortune (laughs).
(laughs) - Was there anything on the omikuji that bothered you?
It said that my luck at work will be good if I continue as I have been doing! I will continue to work hard this year!
-We also prepared "Hanamamori" which you can choose according to the language of flowers or your birthday month.
I think it is important to think as an actor and as a human being, and I have always believed that the stronger your thoughts are, the better things will definitely happen for you, so it fits me best. And the pink flowers are very pretty! Hanamamori" and flower talismans...they are amazing, aren't they? When you come to Tokyo Daijingu Shrine, you should buy a hanamamori for your happiness and make it matching (laughs).
-You also made a Hatsumode (New Year's visit to the shrine), didn't you?
Yes, Hatsumode! Normally, I am the type of person who spends 1 yen or 5 yen right away, but this year I found a beautiful 5 yen coin in my wallet that I had not been able to use for a long time. I wondered if it was there for this day.
-What did you pray for?
It's a secret! They say if you tell, it won't come true (laughs).
-What are your resolutions for this year?
Yumiri Hanamori's resolution for this year is to "grow up. For me, I think that turning 18 is a milestone in becoming an adult, just like turning 20, and I would like to try to grow more than ever as an actor. And like Anne Hana-Koizumi, I would like to be able to give my deepest love and my best to the roles I have been given.
-Thank you very much.
