TV Anime "There's a Problem in This Art Club! announces its first cast member!　Uesaka Sumire as Colette, a free-spirited foreign member of the club

The first part of the cast and character setting drawings have been released from the TV anime "There is a Problem in This Art Club! The first part of the cast and the character drawing have been revealed.

This art club has a problem! is an anime work based on the manga series by Imigimuru, which has been serialized in Dengeki Maou since October 2012. It is a cultural club comedy that comically depicts the daily lives of the unique members of a junior high school art club, centering on the main character, who has a talent for drawing pictures but is only interested in drawing "two-dimensional brides," and a serious girl who has a crush on him.

The first cast members and character pictures have been unveiled. Mizuki Usami is played by Arie Ozawa, the only sane sophomore who loves Uchimaki despite her dismay at Uchimaki's two-dimensional hobby; Yusuke Kobayashi plays Subaru Uchimaki, a sophomore who is gifted at drawing but only joins the art club to draw his "ideal two-dimensional wife"; and Sumire Uesaka plays Colette, a first-year foreign member who has lived in Japan for six or seven years and whose freewheeling behavior is quite remarkable. I am very honored to play the role of Subaru Uchimaki! He is not interested in three-dimensional girls! However, he is not a misanthrope, and his communication skills are rather high. It's itchy to see how he makes the girls in his department nervous without even thinking about it (laugh). I am looking forward to playing the role of Subaru, who shows an innocent expression in any dimension!
