The anime "YAMUSUME PEDAL" is based on the manga by Wataru Watanabe, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. It is a sports story about an otaku boy who enters the world of cycling after meeting his friends and aims for the Inter-High School Championships. The total number of copies of the original comics sold exceeded 15 million, and the second TV anime season and the first feature film were also produced. A third TV anime season has already been decided.

The BD/DVD of "YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE," a completely new original story written by the original author, will be released on February 17, and sample images have arrived. First, the digipak containing the main disc and an original drama CD depicting a later episode of the "Kumamoto Fire Country Yamanami Race" is designed with a key visual from the film version and a scene cut from the magnificent sea of clouds in Kumamoto Prefecture, where the main story takes place. The enclosed bonus "Setting Documents Collection" contains 52 pages of newly created setting drawings. Also included is a "travel bookmark" created by the Sohoku High School Cycling Club and its rival Hakone Gakuen Cycling Club for the "Kumamoto Fire Country Yamanami Race" depicted in the main story. This one was created by Mamoru Kinjo, the captain of Sohoku High School, and by ace climber Jyohachi Todo of Hakone Gakuen, and contains detailed information on the team schedule for the race. In addition, the book includes a list of personal belongings, room assignments at lodgings, and other geeky information that fans will love, and is designed to show the personalities of both Kaneshiro and Todo.

In addition, a priority ticket application for the "Theater version YAMUSUME PEDAL Special Event EXTRA RIDE," which will be held on May 15, is also included.
