T-shirts of "Mobile Battleship Nadesico," one of the most famous sci-fi romantic comedy anime of the 90s, are now available!

Cospa's "2D Cospa" brand is releasing a T-shirt of "Hoshino Ruri," the operator of "Mobile Battleship Nadeshiko.

Mobile Battleship Nadesico" is a science fiction romantic comedy anime that began airing on TV in 1996. Although it is a romantic comedy with space battleships and robots, it also has a solid science fiction setting and is highly regarded by core anime fans. In 1998, a sequel film, "Mobile Battleship Nadeshiko -The prince of darkness-" was released. In a sense, it is one of the most representative science fiction anime of the 1990s. Directed by Tatsuo Sato, whose works include "Moretsu Uchu Kaizoku" and "Rinne no Lagrange. Animation production is by XEBEC.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV version of "Mobile Battleship Nadesico," and a T-shirt featuring the operator of the battleship Nadesico, "Hoshino Ruri," is now available. The T-shirt is said to have been designed with her striking smile, as she was inspired by the free-spirited Nadesico crew and gradually began to show a variety of facial expressions.

In addition, an original T-shirt from Nergal Heavy Industries, the company that built the Battleship Nadesico, is also available! In addition, an all-print T-shirt featuring Hoshino Ruri, who is popular as "the youngest genius and beautiful girl captain in history" from the movie "Mobile Battleship Nadeshiko -The prince of darkness-" will also go on sale.

Both products are scheduled to go on sale in late March, but will be sold in advance at the COSPA booth (Hall 3) at Wonder Festival 2016 [Winter] to be held on February 7 (Sun) at Makuhari Messe. Sizes are M/L/XL, both priced at 2,900 yen (tax not included).
