Police anime "Activ Raid" collaborates with live-action drama "Abunai Detective! In commemoration of the release of the final movie "Farewell, Detective Abu-Nai".

A collaboration with the live-action TV drama "Abunai Detective" has been announced for the TV anime "Active Raid - Mobile Assault Room Section 8.



Active Raid - Mobile Assault Room Section 8" is a new original TV animation by Flying Dog. Set in Tokyo in the near future, it is an action film about police officers who solve crimes using high-powered, reinforced exoskeletons called "Will Wear." The general director is Goro Taniguchi of "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion" and "Gun X Sword," the director is Noriaki Akitani of "Dandelion in the Castle Town," and the original character design is by Shun Saeki of "Shokugeki no Soma" and Asako Nishida of "Love Live! The animation character design is by Asako Nishida of "Love Live! The animation is produced by Production Images.

This collaboration was made possible by the release of the movie "Farewell, Detective Abu Nazinai" on January 30, which is based on the live-action TV drama "Abu Nazinai Keisatsu. The collaboration illustration is based on the motif of the movie poster showing Toshiki Takayama/Taka (Hiroshi Tachi) and Yuuji Oshita/Yuji (Kyobei Shibata), the detective duo of the investigation division of the Yokohama Minato Police Station. The top page of the official anime website will also be jacked up to "Farewell, Abominable Detective" specifications for a limited time.


The movie "Farewell, Detective Abu Nazabu" is a commemorative work for the 30th anniversary of the "Abu Nazabu Keisatsu" series that started in 1986. It has been 11 years since the last film in the series, "The Fallen Detective," and this will be the final film in the series. How will Dandy Takayama & Sexy Oshita end up fighting their final battle before retirement?
