Hi8 PRO, an 8-inch Windows 10 tablet with Cherry Trail, from CHUWI!

CHUWI has released the "Hi8 PRO," an inexpensive Windows 10 tablet equipped with thenew generation Atom "Cherry Trail.

The Hi8 PRO is the successor to the company's Hi8 tablet released last year, and features a new CPU, the Atom x5-Z8300 (clocked at 1.44GHz (max. 1.84GHz) /quad-core ) instead of the Atom Z3736F (clock ed at 1.33GHz (max. 2.16GHz)/quad-core). The main differences are that the operating system has been changed from Windows 10/Android 4.4 to Windows 10 only. On the interface side, the USB port has been changed from microUSB to USB Type-C, and a microHDMI port has been newly added.

The main specifications are as follows: theonboard OS is Windows 10 Home 32bit (Chinese/multi-language support); the CPU is the Intel Atom x5-Z8300 (operating clock 1.44GHz (maximum 1.84GHz)/quad-core). The display is an 8-inch IPS LCD (1,920 x 1,200 pixels). It has 2GB of DDR3L memory, 32GB of internal storage, wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g/n), front (300,000 pixel)/rear (2 megapixel) cameras, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microSD card slot.

The main unit measures 211.2 x 123.2 x 9.3 mm and weighs 350 g.
