Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju," an anime about the world of rakugo, reveals the first part of the BD/DVD video bonus! The first part of "Exploring Rakugo" featuring Yu Kobayashi

The first footage of the BD/DVD video bonus from the TV anime "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju," which is currently airing, has been released.


Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" is an anime work based on Haruko Unda's manga serialized in ITAN. The TV anime version shares the same staff: director Mamoru Hatakeyama, series composition by Jun Kumagai, character design by Mieko Hosoi, and rakugo supervision by Mieko Hayashi. The authentic Rakugo performances by the voice actors have been attracting attention since immediately after the start of the broadcast, and the first footage of the BD/DVD video bonus has been released. This video is a clip of the first five minutes of the video bonus "Rakugo Exploration," in which Yu Kobayashi and Sankyu Tatsuo serve as guides, from the first BD/DVD volume to be released on February 24. In the first part, they visit Shinjuku Suehiro-tei, one of Tokyo's Yose theaters, where two well-known rakugo enthusiasts introduce rakugo to beginners in an easy-to-understand manner.


A panel exhibition is being held at a special venue on the 4th floor of Shibuya Parco Part 1 until February 8. In addition to the exhibition of materials, authentic goods (fans, hand towels, teacups, etc.) and a photo corner (where visitors can sit on the cushions of the stage and take pictures) are also available.
