A new key visual and broadcast start date have been announced for the TV anime "Ace Attorney," which will begin in April.



This is an anime adaptation of Capcom's courtroom battle adventure game series "Ace Attorney". In the original game, the player, a defense attorney for a defendant accused of a crime he did not commit, solves the mystery of the case based on inconsistencies in the investigation and testimony, and wins an acquittal in court. The game has gained popularity for its well-crafted scenario and unique characters, and has been adapted into various media mixes, including a stage version by the Takarazuka Revue Company and a live-action film. The series is directed by Watanabe Ayumi of "Doraemon" series and "Space Brothers," series composed by Tomioka Atsuhiro of "Pokemon" and "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo R," character design by Ota Keiko, and animation production by A-1 Pictures.

The new key visual is a variation of the previous key visual with the catchphrase, "The 'truth' is objectionable! is added to the previous key visual. The broadcast start date has been set for April 2. It will be broadcast on Saturday evenings from 5:30 p.m. on Yomiuri TV and other channels.
