Voting is now open for the "2016 Winter Anime Competitiveness Popularity Poll!　Currently topping the poll is this season's biggest dark horse, "Bless This Wonderful World!

The "2016 Winter Anime Power Popularity Poll" has been running since January 28 on "Anipota," an anime portal operated by Akiba Research Institute, and we would like to report on the progress of the poll.

Of the 38 candidate works that started airing from January to February 2016, "Bless This Wonderful World! . Kazuma, an ordinary adventurer whose only strength is his high luck value, forms a party with Aqua, an arc priest whose only skills are recovery magic and banquet entertainment, Megumi, an arc wizard who has developed a form of chuunibyou, and Daknes, a defense-oriented dominant crusader who cannot be hit by attacks, to defeat the Demon King. It was ranked 22nd in the 2016 Winter Anime Expectations Popularity Poll, making it the dark horse of this season.

Trailing it by one vote is "Boku dake ga inai machi. Will this new genre of "time reversal suspense" become a hit in Fuji Television's "Noitamina" slot? Following it were "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" (211 votes), which depicts the Showa era rakugo world and the human characters in it, "GATE: Self Defense Force, This Land, This Battle (2nd season)" (190 votes), and "Dada Butai" (153 votes), leaving a crowded field in the top five.

Votes can be cast three times per person, and will be accepted until February 21.
