Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" announced the "God Anime Ranking 2015" representing the year 2015.

This time, "AniPota" has recognized a total of 40 works as "God Anime". The top 40 works were selected in order of the highest points in "AniPota's" work evaluation reviews, and are listed as a ranking. The first place went to "Girls und Panzer: The Movie," which was released in theaters at the end of the year and has been running for a long time. The satisfaction rating from users was a high 4.9, almost a perfect score. In third place was "Yurikuma Arashi," another problematic winter anime, with a satisfaction rating of 4.8. The theme was "Yuri," as the title implies, and it fantastically depicted a love-hate drama between human and bear girls. The abstract dialogue, direction, and worldview of the series have been controversial since its broadcast, but its unique and mysterious atmosphere has made it popular among both men and women alike, as evidenced by the popularity of the "gau gau" line uttered by the bears.

In fourth place was Kyoani's masterpiece, "Hibike! Euphonium," a Kyoani masterpiece, in fourth place, and "YuruYuri San☆High! the latest work of "YuruYuri," which boasts strong popularity, came in at No. 5, with the top 10 of the "God Anime Ranking 2015.
