Udon no Kuni no Kinmari (Udon no Kuni no Kinmari)" to be adapted into a TV anime by Leiden Film!　Starts on NTV by the end of 2016

Udon no Kuni no Kinzoku Kemari" will be adapted into a TV anime, which will be broadcast by Nippon Television Network Corporation and other TV networks by the end of 2016.

Udon no Kuni no Kinzoku Kemari" is a manga serialized by Nodoka Shinomaru in the monthly comic @ BANCH. Set in Kagawa Prefecture, which is famous as "Udon Prefecture," the story depicts the main character who returns to his birthplace Kagawa after the death of his father who runs an udon shop, meets a raccoon dog disguised as a human child, and grows up through his life with his best friend, sister, first love classmate, and other people around him. The comic is currently in its seventh volume.

The staff of the anime version is directed by Yoshihide Ibata, the director of "Shinkage! Giant Junior High School" directed by Yoshihide Ibata, series composition by Natsuko Takahashi of "Ore Monogatari! and the character design and chief animation director is Yoriko Ito of "Plaster Boys. In conjunction with the announcement of the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual depicting the main character, Sota Tawara, and the raccoon dog, Poco, was also released.
