Comments from the opening day greetings of the third chapter of the anime film "Initial D" have arrived.

Initial D" is an anime film based on the popular manga (author: Shuichi Shigeno), which was serialized in Weekly Young Magazine from 1995 to 2013 and has sold 48 million copies in 48 volumes. The main character, who has the mark of a "young leaf," drives his father's old Hachi Roku (AE86 Sprinter Treno), which is owned by his father who runs a tofu shop, and engages in heated public road battles with other drivers from all over the country with his amazing drift driving... The story is told in four TV series from 1998 to 2012, plus one movie version, plus several OVAs. The series was a huge hit, with four TV series, one film version, and several OVAs produced between 1998 and 2012. The new film version is produced by Sanzigen and Raidenfilm, which are known for their CG production techniques, and all the sounds of the cars in the film are reproduced by professional racing drivers. In addition, the cast has been completely renewed and the film depicts the battle between the "Rotary Takahashi Brothers" (Ryosuke: FC3S RX-7 / Keisuke: FD3S RX-7), who claim to be the fastest in the Gunma area, and Takumi Fujiwara, the main character, in a three-part story.

The final chapter, "Legend3-Yumegensen," was released on February 6, and the first day of the film was greeted on stage at Shinjuku Piccadilly. Mamoru Miyano (Takumi Fujiwara), Daisuke Ono (Ryosuke Takahashi), Yuichi Nakamura (Keisuke Takahashi), Minoru Shiraishi (Takeshi Takeuchi), Tomohito Naka (director), and Hiroaki Matsuura (Sanzigen representative and CG creative producer) took the stage and expressed their joy at the completion of the final chapter and their thoughts about the film. The following are their comments.

Mamoru Miyano (Takumi Fujiwara)
I am very moved to see the conclusion of our battle. Our teamwork has been nurtured throughout the series, and this is reflected in Legend 3. I hope you enjoy the trilogy as we worked as a team to create it. I hope everyone can feel the "passionate flow" of Takumi's growth as he notices and discovers various things and grows because he is still a high school student and has yet to realize what is inside of him!

Daisuke Ono (Ryosuke Takahashi)
Finally the day has come for Ryosuke to fight Takumi. I have been looking forward to this day.Ryosuke has been the leader of Project D under the title of Akagi Redsuns for a long time, butinstead of being Ryosuke Takahashi of Akagi Redsuns, he is the White Comet of Akagi, back when he was a so-called lone wolf. I hope you will pay attention to Ryosuke, who has become hotter than ever in response to Takumi's passion.

Yuichi Nakamura (Keisuke Takahashi)
I played the role of Keisuke's complicated feelings of not wanting either Takumi to lose to him or Ryosuke, who is his older brother and whom he trusts.

Minoru Shiraishi (played by Takeuchi Tatsuru)
I was very nervous during the recording of Legend 1. I am very happy to be able to open the final chapter today, and I hope you will be able to see it in the 4DX screening as well!

Tomohito Naka (Director)
The main highlight of this film is that Takumi grew up through the battles with his rivals in Legend 1 and 2, and the two of them, Takumi and Ryosuke, fight against each other with the feelings of their rivals on their backs.

Hiroaki Matsuura (Representative Director of Sanzigen / CG Creative Producer)
We were approached to produce this film 3 or 4 years ago, and it was very difficult to make this trilogy. I am very happy that we are finally able to release the final chapter of the trilogy today.
