The "Grouchy Mononokean" is adapted into a TV anime!　A comedy about a yokai (monsters) and their interactions at a yokai exorcism shop.

A TV anime adaptation of "The Grouchy Mononoke An" has been announced.

The "Grouchy Mononokean" is a web manga serialized in Gungan ONLINE by Wazawakiri. It is a comedy about a high school boy who becomes possessed by a monster and meets the owner of "Mononokean" who exorcises monsters for a living. The fifth volume of the comic is currently on sale.

Along with the announcement of the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual was also released. It depicts the main character, high school student Hanae Ashiya, Harusai Abe, the owner of "Monokaian," and Mojamoja, the yokai that haunts Hanae. Although there are many yokai in the series, none of them are bad, but all of them have some kind of trouble in the present world (Utsushio) and are unable to leave for the hidden world (Kakuriyo).
