Anime film "Accel World Infinite Burst" to be released on July 23! Story written by the original author

From the TV anime "Accel World," it was announced that the new anime will be released as a theater version on July 23.


Accel World" is an anime based on the light novel by Reki Kawahara, which won the grand prize at the 15th Dengeki Novel Award, and was made into a popular TV anime in 2012. Set in the near future, the action story follows the main characters who get caught up in a mysterious fighting game, with highlights including the game-like and powerful battle scenes and the depiction of human relationships in the real world.

The announced new anime will be released on July 23 as "Accel World INFINITE∞BURST," the first movie version of the series. The staff will continue from the TV series, with Masakazu Obara as director, Reki Kawahara and Hiroyuki Yoshino as scriptwriters, and Sunrise as production company. Character design and animation director is Yukiko Aikei, duel avatar design and action director is Yosuke Kabashima, and the theme song is "PLASMIC FIRE" by KOTOKO x ALTIMA. The story is a completely new movie version, newly written by the original author, Reki Kawahara. The film will be released at Shinjuku Piccadilly and 24 other theaters nationwide.


The first advance tickets will be sold from February 27. The special bonus is a special clear file.
