RASPBERRY PI TOUCH DISPLAY, a genuine display for the Raspberry Pi, a single board computer the size of a business card,is now available fromthe Raspberry Pi Foundation.




The RASPBERRY PI TOUCH DISPLAY is a 7-inch display with 10-point touch support. A display conversion board with a 5-pole FDC connector is attached to the back of the main unit, which is connected to the Raspberry Pi's display connector (DSI) with the included cable.


The main specifications are: resolution is 800 x 480 pixels. Frame rate is 60 fps. 24-bit color. Viewing angle is 70 degrees. Power can be supplied by using the microUSB port on the conversion board, or by connecting the RaspberryPi's power supply (8226373) to the "PWR IN" connector on the display conversion board and supplying power to the Raspberry Pi through the "PWR OUT" connector via USB connection, A method of supplying power from the RaspberryPi to the display board using the included jumper wire is provided.
