Anime film "Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic" to be released in early spring 2017! Anime adaptation of the popular "Luxury Liner Arc" from the original work

It was announced that the anime film "Black Butler Book of the Atlantic" will be released in early spring 2017.


This is the first anime film version of "Black Butler," which is well-known for its TV anime and live-action film adaptations. It will be an anime adaptation of the "Luxury Liner Arc," a popular episode of the original work. Directed by Noriyuki Abe, script by Hiroyuki Yoshino, character design and chief animation director by Minako Shiba, and produced by A-1 Pictures, all of whom continue from the third TV anime season. The cast will also remain unchanged.


The visual for the movie version was newly drawn by the original author, Yana Tobori.



<Story
The story takes place in 19th century England. In 19th century England, a boy called "the evil aristocrat" always had a "butler" by his side. Sebastian is the butler of the Phantomhive family, a prestigious aristocrat. He is perfect in knowledge, culture, dignity, cooking, martial arts...everything. Today, he performs his duties in his jet-black tailcoat with his selfish 13-year-old master, Ciel. Butler, after all.
