From the anime film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm," which will be released on January 9, it was announced that a series of screening events will be held in four cities across Japan.

KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" is a spin-off work starring the popular male unit "Over The Rainbow" from the TV anime "Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live" that aired from April 2013 to March 2014. The story is about Koji (CV: Tetsuya Kakihara), Hiro (CV: Tomoaki Maeno), and Kazuki (CV: Toshiki Masuda) as they take on new challenges in the "Prism King Cup" held once every four years. Directed by Masakazu Hishida, script by Yuzuru Aoba, CG director Yoshihiro Otobe, character draft and design by Mai Matsuura, and produced by Tatsunoko Productions.

The film was released in 14 theaters nationwide on January 9, and is popular for its "Prism Star Cheering Screening," an event screening where everyone gets together in cosplay, cheering, and postrecording. The "Valentine's Day Special Screening," in which a special Valentine's Day character message video is shown at the beginning of the film, attracted approximately 170% more people than on the first day of the film's release, and has been steadily increasing in popularity, recording the highest attendance ever on its 37th day.
