Best Yuri Anime Popularity Poll: "Sakura Trick" and "YuruYuri" in a Rivalry!　The third-placed "Marimite" and below are far ahead of "Sakura Trick" and "YuruYuri"!

Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" has been running a poll since February 1, titled "What do you think is the best yuri anime? Here is a report on the progress of the project.

Of the 18 yuri anime of all time that have been nominated for the poll, "Sakura Trick" is currently in the lead with 634 votes. It is followed by "YuruYuri" with 630 votes, far ahead of "Maria-sama ga Mitteru" in third place with 194 votes, making it a one-on-one battle. Both "Sakura Trick" and "Yuru Yuri" are young works that were broadcast in the 2010s, and their age groups seem to overlap. Therefore, it is likely that the fierce battle for the third place will continue until the end of the season. The battle for third place is also close, with "Strawberry Panic" (146 votes), "Blue Flower" (138 votes), "Kaminazuki no Miko" (126 votes), and "Yurikuma Arashi" (109 votes) all within a reasonable range.
