Competitive karuta youth anime "Chihayafuru" releases low-priced BD-BOX of the first/second season!　In commemoration of the release of the live-action movie version, which will be a two-part series

A low-priced BD-BOX of the TV anime "Chihayafuru" and "Chihayafuru 2" has been announced.

Based on a coming-of-age manga about competitive karuta, "Chihayafuru" has been adapted into two seasons of TV animation. It is still fresh in our memories that "Chihayafuru" was popular not only among women but also among men for its beautiful visuals and passionate coming-of-age story. Directed by Morio Asaka, series composition by Naoya Takayama, character design by Kunihiko Hamada, and animation production by Madhouse.

In commemoration of the March and April release of the live-action film versions of the series, "Chihayafuru: The Upper Clause" and "Chihayafuru: The Lower Clause," a low-priced BD-box containing the first season (25 episodes) will be released on April 20, and the second season (25 episodes) on May 25. Each will be priced at 18,000 yen plus tax. The first season will come with a special case that can hold both BOXes.
