The first ever rugby anime "ALL OUT! and broadcast will begin in the fall of 2016!　Production: TMS x Madhouse and other staff announced

The TV anime "ALL OUT! will start airing in the fall of 2016. The staff and teaser visual were also announced.

ALL OUT! is an anime work based on a manga by Shiori Amase. It is based on high school rugby and depicts the passionate adolescence of attractive characters, centering on two uneven characters of opposite heights and personalities. Recently, rugby fever has been increasing in Japan due to the World Cup, and this is the first ever work based on rugby to be adapted into a TV anime.

This time, the broadcast start date has been decided to be in the fall of 2016. The staff and teaser visual were also announced. The director is Kenichi Shimizu of "Parasite: Sei's Ratio," series composition and screenplay by Masahiro Yokotani of "Free! Production will be handled by TMS and Madhouse, with Telecom Animation Film participating as a planning and production partner. The teaser visual is a powerful illustration depicting the four main characters with the copy "Anyone can be the main character here" against the backdrop of a field enveloped in a morning glow. Poster visuals for each character have also been released.

In addition, the Japan Rugby Football Union will be cooperating with the project. The first rugby anime will liven up the opening of the 2016 rugby season. Incidentally, the eighth volume of the original comics, which will be released on February 23, will include a special edition with a drama CD featuring the same cast as the anime.

I played rugby when I was a student, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in a rugby anime, which has been my dream for a long time! I hope that you can feel the passion that radiates from the individual characters in the original work when you watch the anime! I have no experience in rugby, but when I think back to my school days when I was a complexed student, I still love characters with some kind of complex. Gion, Ishikiomizu, and even the characters from rival schools are all struggling desperately with something. I hope to draw the growth of the team as it struggles desperately, overcomes obstacles, and grows stronger, while struggling along with them myself. I look forward to working with you.

Like Mr. Yokotani, who is the series director, I am a cultural type of person, and I share the same passion and dedication of the original work. I hope that the staff and cast will work together to amplify this passion. In addition, the story of the birth of Lagerman Akayama is depicted on the drama CD in the special edition comic. Personally, I am filled with anticipation and nervousness as this is the first sports story in a long time and the first rugby story in a TV anime. ALL OUT! has a variety of characters with different styles, and they are very attractive and fun to draw! I hope to deliver the sex appeal and charm of the original characters to all viewers. I still have a devilish amount of work ahead of me, but I will do my best to contribute to the work as much as I can.
