TV animation "Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn) RE:0096" to start in April!　Two-cour program in TV Asahi's Sunday morning slot

It was announced that the TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn) RE:0096 (Re: Double-O Ninety-Six)" will start in April.

It will be broadcast on the national network of TV Asahi starting on April 3 from 7:00 a.m. every Sunday morning over a two-cour period.

The content is a re-edited version of the hit OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn)," which consisted of seven chapters, as a TV series. The opening and ending songs are new.

Both the opening and ending theme songs are sung by "SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]" (Sawano Hiroyuki Nuzik), a vocal project by Hiroyuki Sawano, the playwright in charge of music for this work. The vocals for the opening theme "Into the Sky" will be provided by Tielle, a new female vocalist selected in the 2015 Hiroyuki Sawano Vocalist Audition, and the 1st ending theme "Next 2 U -eUC-" will be provided by singer-songwriter The CD will be released as "Into the Sky EP" on June 29.
