Soccer Anime "DAYS" Announces Main Cast! Takuto Yoshinaga, 16 years old, has been selected as the main character, Tsukushi Emoto!

The main cast of "DAYS," which will be adapted into a TV anime, has been announced.


DAYS" is an authentic high school soccer manga by Takeshi Yasuda, serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) since 2013, with volumes 1-14 of the comics currently on sale. It is a popular work that has sold more than 1.5 million copies in total. The airing date has not yet been decided.



Directed by "Kick Off to the Galaxy! and "ONE PIECE THE MOVIE: Karakuri Jou no Mecha Giant". Character design is by Kazuto Nakazawa of "Kuroko no Basket" and "Zankin no Terror. Sound director is Masafumi Mima of "Shinkage no Kyojin" and "Kuroko no Basket" fame. Sound production is by Techno Sound, with music by Yorihiro Ike, who has worked on the "Partners" series and "Kuroko's Basketball". Animation production will be by MAPPA, which has produced "Ushio-Tora," "Reverberation of Terror," and "Rage of Bahamut: Genesis," and music will be produced by Pony Canyon.


The announcement this time includes information on the three main cast members, including the main character, Tsukushi Emoto. Takuto Yoshinaga, currently 16 years old, has been selected to play the role of Tsukushi Emoto. Sadajo Matsuoka will play the role of Takuto Yoshinaga, a friend who invites Tsukushi to futsal, and Daisuke Namikawa will play Hisato Mizuki, the captain of the Seiseki High School soccer team.

When he joins the soccer club of Seiseki High School, a prestigious high school in West Tokyo, his destiny begins to spin violently.
There is Kazama Jin, a lonely soccer genius; Mizuki Hisato, the captain of the team who is a super high school level player; Kimishita Atsushi, the cool commanding officer who reigns supreme at the top; and Oshiba Kiichi, a big, self-satisfied forward. ......
The boys begin to form an irreplaceable bond in the strict but gentle club activities of these quirky players.
This is a story of sweat, miracles, and friendship in the passionate and pure-hearted Seiseki High School soccer club!
