TV Anime "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" Blu-ray & DVD Volume 1 on Sale! The first footage of the popular rakugo scene is released!

From the TV anime "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju," currently airing on TV, the beginning of the rakugo scene from the first volume of the Blu-ray and DVD released today, February 24 (Wed.), has been released.

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" is an anime work based on the manga of the same title serialized in "ITAN" by Haruko Kumoda. The TV anime version shares the same staff: director Mamoru Hatakeyama, series composition by Jun Kumagai, character design by Mieko Hosoi, and rakugo supervision by Mieko Hayashi. The director is Mamoru Hatakeyama, series composition by Jun Kumagai, character design by Mieko Hosoi, rakugo supervision by Shinpei Hayashiya, and animation production by Studio Deen.

Immediately after the broadcast, the authentic Rakugo performances by the participating voice actors have been attracting attention from Rakugo fans, and now the beginning video of a Rakugo scene that will be included in the first volume of the Blu-ray and DVD has been released on YouTube. The three rakugo stories are "Dekigokoro" by Yotaro (CV: Tomokazu Seki), "Kajikazawa" by Yurakutei Yakumo (CV: Akira Ishida), and "Yumekin" by Sukeroku (CV: Koichi Yamadera).
