A new key visual and a second trailer have been released for the OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin III: Dawn Uprising," which will begin screening in theaters on May 21.

This is the third chapter of the "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin" anime, which has sold a total of 10 million copies as a manga work by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the character designer and animation director of the first Gundam, which began broadcasting in 1979. This time, the story depicts Edwau Mas, who left the Texas Colony and entered the Defense Academy of the Autonomous Republic of Zeon as Char Aznable, as he deepens his friendship with his classmate Garma, a sergeant in the Zabi family, and the students' armed uprising against the Earth Federation security forces in a bid for independence. The film continues with Yoshikazu Yasuhiko as general director and character designer, Takashi Imanishi as director, Hajime Katoki as mechanical designer, and Hiroyuki Nishimura as chief animation director. Garma Zabi is played by Tetsuya Kakihara, Lino Fernandez by Tomoaki Maeno, Trenov Y. Minovsky by Naoki Bando, and Zena Mia by Ai Chino.
