Cute mushroom-shaped Bluetooth speakers are now on sale.

Akiba Spilling Story" is an irregularly-serialized corner that introduces PC parts and digital gadgets that the Akiba Research Institute staff finds interesting during interviews.

A mushroom-shaped Bluetooth speaker with a design that looks like something you've seen in a video game before (?). The "Mini Bluetooth Mushroom Speaker," a mushroom-shaped Bluetooth speaker with a design you may have seen in a game somewhere, is now on sale at the Jan-gle Akihabara flagship store.

The "Mini Bluetooth Mushroom Speaker" is a cute mushroom-shaped Bluetooth speaker. The top of the umbrella is the power/play/stop button, and the back of the umbrella is the speaker.

What was a bit surprising was that the eyes are buttons. Pressing the dull eyes quickly to fast forward/rewind songs (long press to adjust volume) is... a bit exasperating (laugh).

Main specifications include Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connection interface; speaker output of 3 W. Power source is a built-in battery, which takes about 2.5 hours to charge. It is available in five colors: black/blue/green/yellow/pink.

Despite its compact size, it offers better sound than the built-in speakers of smartphones and tablets, so it would make a good little gift for women. How about giving it as a White Day gift + α?

The price is 1,480 yen (tax not included).
