Voice actor comments from the TV anime "Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro," which will start in April, have been announced.

Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro" is an anime work based on a manga (original idea: Yipiao / manga: Yujiro Koyama) serialized in "Shonen Jump +". It comedically depicts Katsumata Agetaro, the third generation owner of a tonkatsu restaurant in Shibuya, who finds commonalities between tonkatsu and club DJing, and his struggle to become a full-fledged professional in both fields. The director has also directed "Sexy Commando-Gaiden: Amazing! Masaru-san" and "Gag Manga Days," while Daisuke Fujiwara of the DJ/producer unit MU-STARS handles the music. Animation production is by Studio Deen.

Comments from the voice actors have now arrived from the recording studio. Each cast member talks about their impressions of the work and the characters they play. I thought he was an energetic boy of today's adolescence. He helps out at home even though he complains. He is serious at heart, but at the same time, he seeks stimulation from somewhere, and he has a lot of passion to explore new things. In a word, I think he is a stubborn old man with a craftsman's spirit, but since this is Daichi's film, it will not be a simple task. I'm still trying to figure out how to make a stereotype less stereotypical.

Oshibori-kun is a flirtatious guy, but I think he is a good guy with his own pace. I will do my best to play the role as if I were wearing a light robe...I will do my best without trying too hard (laughs).

I feel that he seems to be a good person even though he is kind of unreliable. I will do my best to keep up with the charm of the work and the director's way of doing things.
