The original anime "Girls und Panzer," directed by Tsutomu MIZUSHIMA, depicts a heartwarming story with the theme of beautiful girls and tanks. The realistic depiction of tanks and numerous beautiful girl characters have been highly acclaimed by anime fans and military fans alike. In July 2014, the OVA "Girls und Panzer: This is the real battle of Anzio! was screened in theaters in July 2014, and the first theater version of the anime film "Girls und Panzer: The Movie" was released in November.

It opened in 77 theaters on November 21, and its box-office revenue exceeded the 1 billion yen mark on January 30, the 71st day of its release, The cumulative box-office revenue was 1,380,539,334 yen. The latest illustration was created in collaboration with Mito Holy Hockey, a J2 professional soccer club that has signed a uniform sponsorship agreement with Mito City. The illustration depicts the five members of the "Ankou Team," to which the main character Miho Nishizumi belongs, wearing this season's uniforms, descending on the Kesdenki Stadium Mito together with Tank No. IV, which they are flying, and the club mascot, Holy-kun. The J2 League season began on February 28, and Mito Holy Hockey's first home game (vs. Cerezo Osaka) is scheduled for March 6.
