High School Girls' Motorcycle Coming-of-Age Anime "Bak-ON! and "SIMPSON" followed by "Arai" and "SHOEI" as helmets with real names!

The TV anime "Bak-ON! a new cooperating company and participation in a motorcycle event have been announced.


Bak-ON! is an anime work based on a manga by Orimoto Mimana, which is serialized in Young Champion Isetsu. It is a coming-of-age story set in a girls' high school motorcycle club, in which the main character, who is interested in motorcycles, is supported by her unique friends as she leads a life of motorcycling. Five motorcycle manufacturers (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, Honda, and Yamaha) and other motorcycle-related companies fully cooperate in the animation. Directed by Junji Nishimura of "Arrest me," series composition by Kurasumi Sunayama of "Z/X IGNITION," character design by Isao Sugimoto of "Girls und Panzer," and animation production by TMS.

With the cooperation of "NORIX", an exporter of motorcycle parts, the "SIMPSON" helmet, which is also used by Kawasaki ZX12R's favorite silent senior, Raimu Kawasaki, will appear in the series under its real name. Major helmet makers such as "Arai" and "SHOEI" have already decided to participate, and the portrayal of helmets will also be a highlight for motorcycle enthusiasts.


In addition, a collaborative stage with Good Manners JAPAN RIDERS, promoted by the Japan Motorcycle Promotion and Safety Association, will be held at the motorcycle event "The 32nd Osaka Motorcycle Show 2016" (March 19-21/Intex Osaka). Rena Ueda, who plays the main character Hane Sakura, will appear on stage to talk about the anime and motorcycles. The event will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 on the 20th at the event stage in Hall 1.
