NHK produces an anime collaboration version of the reconstruction assistance song "Hana ha Saku"! Arranged by composer Yoko Kanno and sung by Koichi Yamadera and Nana Mizuki

NHK has announced that it will broadcast an animated version of the reconstruction assistance song "Hana ha Saku".



The song, "Hana ha Saku", which was sung at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, has been produced in various versions since 2012 in collaboration with celebrities and artists from various fields. This time, "Hana ha Saku: Anime Star Version," which features the participation of animation masterpieces from the past, has been decided to send a cheer to Tohoku.

The music was arranged by Yoko Kanno, the composer of "Hana ha Saku" herself. The song will be sung as a duet by Koichi Yamadera, one of Japan's leading voice actors and a native of Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, and Nana Mizuki, who is also an active artist. The first broadcast will be on NHK General at 23:40 on March 12. The first broadcast will be on NHK Sogo at 11:40 p.m. on March 12, followed by other broadcasts as needed.
