Love Live! The final single "MOMENT RING" by μ's reached No. 2 overall on Oricon!　Highest first-week sales ever!

μ's "MOMENT RING" released on March 2 was revealed to be ranked No. 2 overall in the Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking dated March 14.

It sold 96,000 copies in its first week of release. Strictly speaking, the CD achieved a new personal record with 96,479 copies sold, slightly surpassing the 96,150 copies sold for "Bokutachi wa hitotsu hitotsu hikari / Future style," the CD insert song for the July 2015 anime movie "Love Live! The No. 2 overall position was also tied with "Bokutachi wa hitotsu hitotsu hikari / Future style" for the highest single position. This work was produced by the 9-member group of voice actors from the popular anime "Love Live! The girls are expected to end their five-and-a-half-year career with their final live performance at Tokyo Dome from March 31 to April 1.

Incidentally, the overall No. 1 single in the Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking dated March 14 was KAT-TUN's "UNLOCK" with 195,000 copies. In addition, character song CDs of "Idolmaster Cinderella Girls" ranked at No. 7, No. 8, No. 9, No. 10, and No. 11. These initial sales ranged from 17,000 to 13,000 copies.
