New additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "My Hero Academia," which will start in April.

My Hero Academia" is an anime based on the manga series written by Kohei Horikoshi and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. Set in a world where 80% of the world's population has some kind of idiosyncrasy, the story follows the protagonist, who has no idiosyncrasy of any kind, as he aims to become a hero against criminals who abuse his idiosyncrasy. The original series has sold more than 2 million copies in its first year of serialization and has become a "Jump Royal Road" series with its strong message and unique characters. Directed by Kenji Nagasaki, series composition by Yosuke Kuroda, character design by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and animation production by BONES.

A new addition to the cast has been announced. All of them are students in Class 1A of the Hero Department at Yuuei High School. Kosuke Kuwano plays Elegance Aoyama, who has the "Neville Razor" personality and emits lasers from her belly button like an aristocrat; Kei Mado plays Kyoka Mimirou, a rock-loving girl with the "Earphone Jack" personality who attacks with sound waves by plugging in her earlobes; and the vivacious girl Sanna Ashido has the "Acid" personality that emits dissolved liquid from her body. Mina Ashido is played by Eri Kitamura, and Masakazu Nishida plays Mezo Shoji, a large, taciturn character with a "duplicating bowl" that has two tentacles, one on each side.
