Spring Anime "SUPER LOVERS", Voice Actor Comments Arrive! Junko Minagawa: "It's more comical than I expected" and "I like the gap between the flirting scenes.

Voice actor comments from the TV anime "SUPER LOVERS," which will start in April, have been released.

SUPER LOVERS" is an anime work based on Miyuki Abe's manga serialized in Emerald. It is a light-hearted boys' love story depicting pure love and complicated family situations centering on four brothers, the oldest of whom is a hard worker, the twins who are super beautiful, and the youngest of whom is a wild child. The character design is by Miki Takihara, Chief Animation Director of "Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East," and production is by Studio Deen.

Comments from the voice actors from the recording studio have now arrived. The main cast, including Junko Minagawa (Haitang Zero), Tomoaki Maeno (Haru Haitang), Sadaojo Matsuoka (Aki Haitang), Takuatsu Terashima (Makima Haitang), Ayumi Murase (Ikuho Sasaki), and Jun Fukushima (Juzen Kurosaki), talk about their thoughts after the recording sessions and the characters they play.

--Please tell us about your impressions of this work after recording. Also, what was the atmosphere like at the recording studio?
Minagawa: It was more comical and interesting than I expected. I like the gap between the flirting scenes! The postrecording studio is very pleasant!
Maeno: I strongly felt that I wanted to express the characters' feelings in the anime version as well, since the emotions are carefully depicted in the work. The teamwork between the cast and the staff is great, and we have a lot of fun every time we record.
Matsuoka: I have the strong impression that I was able to easily get into the role. The atmosphere on the set is friendly and there is a lot of laughter. I hope to keep this atmosphere until the end!
Terashima: As the title suggests, the film is full of love, lively, and fun! The conversations between the characters and the relationships that change over time are very warm. The scene is fun and serious, with Mr. Minagawa playing the central role. The warmth of the scene is also a result of the fact that you can see a side of the co-stars that you never knew existed before!
Fukushima: The gap between the serious parts and the comedic parts is interesting. There are heartbreaking scenes that make your chest tighten, and then there are slapstick scenes that make you burst out laughing. Everyone gets along so well that there is never a moment of silence on the set, and I think this warm atmosphere carries over into the production.
Murase: I got the impression that brotherly love comes in many forms. The recording studio has a very warm atmosphere, and we have a lot of fun talking about all kinds of things every time.

--Minagawa: I think the character you play is too straight and tries to hide it.
Minagawa: She is too straightforward in her feelings, which she does not try to hide. Clumsiness of expression, instability, and loneliness that cannot be filled. Everything about her is so adorable that I want to give her a hug.
Maeno: I am attracted to him as a man because he has a cheerful personality and receptiveness that everyone likes, and yet he is not perfect.
Matsuoka: Aki is quite an "aniki-kun" complex. He loves his older brother, and his words and actions may give some people the impression that he is blunt, but in fact he is a very caring person, which makes him fun to watch.
Terashima: Makima seems quiet and difficult to communicate with at first glance.
But he talks well with others, has common sense, has small ups and downs but shows his emotions, looks at things calmly, is a good combination with his twin Aki even though they are opposites, is taller than Aki, and cares about his family very much... Oh, there's nothing but charm!
Fukushima: Juzen-kun is a very nice guy. He gets along with Zero right away and I wish he would share his communication skills with me (laugh).
Murase: Ikuyo is a junior host, but I really like his simple and innocent impression.

--Minagawa: All of them!
Minagawa: All of them! The story of my childhood is my favorite. I really enjoy it after Juzen appears!
Maeno: I still enjoy every interaction with the brothers.
Matsuoka: The interaction between the Kaido brothers is really fun, so I hope you will watch it. Personally, I especially want you to see the scene where they talk about Zero and Anikie while eating lunch!
Terashima: The exchange between Zero and his brother, where there is a huge difference in temperature, is really funny to watch. They are always out of sync, but when they realize it, their feelings overlap each other, and it keeps us busy (laughs)!
Fukushima: For Juzen, I think it's his first appearance in the show. I think it is full of the charm of Jyuzentai's character, who skips over many things to become friends with Zero, his mischievousness, which is easily convinced by his brilliant tsukkomi and misunderstanding of cultural differences, and above all, his friendliness. I hope you will laugh at his lines.
Murase: There is an incident involving a customer at a host club...the recording studio was raving about how scary it was (laughs)!

--Minagawa: How would you treat a wild boy like Zero if he suddenly became your younger brother one day?
Minagawa: I would love him with all my love and affection while fighting with him.
Maeno: I can't handle it, so I would leave it to someone else to take care of him, but I would play with him when he plays.
Matsuoka: We start by feeding them, and if I'm not afraid, we hug, then hug, then more hugs, then more hugs, and they evolve into love-and-soul-mates. If that doesn't work, I can't handle it.
Terashima: You must be on tenterhooks! I think it's really great that your brother is taking the initiative to some extent, even though he is at the mercy of you!
Fukushima: I myself am the eldest of three brothers, so I tend to be concerned about my younger brothers and want to take care of them. And when they are quite a few years apart in age, I can't help but feel protective of them. If I had the time, I would play with them.
Murase: I think I'll be pushed around like Ikuyo (laughs), but I'd love to play hide-and-seek and tag with them.

--Please give a message to the fans of "SUPER LOVERS" who are looking forward to the start of the TV anime.
Minagawa: The cast and staff are working hard so that everyone can enjoy the show! Please look forward to it...it's very cute!
Maeno: The staff and I are working hard together to convey the charm of Mr. Abe's original work in the anime. It is a wonderful work full of tears and laughter, so I hope you will look forward to it.
Matsuoka: We are doing our best to bring family love to everyone! I think it will be a fun production! I hope everyone will give SUPER LOVERS their best!
Terashima: The broadcast will start soon! This is a really wonderful work that makes you think from the bottom of your heart, "I love this family..."! Please look forward to it, both for fans of the original work and those who are interested in the anime adaptation!
Fukushima: In a very good atmosphere, we are recording passionately, happily, and concentrating on the recording. There are many scenes that make me feel nervous, relieved, and laugh a lot while I am on site. I will do my best to bring Juzen-kun to life, so please look forward to the broadcast.
Murase: I enjoy working on the recording sessions every time. I hope that everyone will fall in love with the slightly eccentric charms of the Kaido family!
