Spring anime "Macross Delta" announces cast!　Uchida, Seto, Koshimizu, Higashiyama, Uchiyama, Ishikawa, Kimura, KENN, etc.

The cast of the TV anime "Macross Delta," which will start in April, has been announced.

Macross Delta" is a new anime work in the popular "Macross" series, which is based on transformable robots, songs, and love triangles. Set eight years after the previous work "Macross F" on a planet in a remote part of the universe, it depicts a joint operation and love story between the five aerial knights of the "Kingdom of Wind" and the five divas of the tactical music unit "Valkyrie". General director is Shoji Kawamori, director is Kenji Yasuda, series composition and script are by Toshizo Nemoto, character design is by Chisato Jitsuda (CAPCOM), character design is by Majiro and Yu Shindo, and animation production is by Satellite. Before the official announcement, an audition was held to select a voice actress and singer for the heroine, and approximately 8,000 applications were received.

--What is your impression of your own character?
Yuma Uchida as Hayate Immelmann: Hayate is a straightforward guy! In a way, he is blunt and clumsy, and yet he is technically a dexterous character, or rather, a character who has not found what he wants to do. However, because of his childishness, he has the strength to go for it when he decides to. I myself admire her in some ways.
Minori Suzuki as Freya Vion: Freya loves singing, and she is a character who runs toward her dreams without thinking about the consequences. She sometimes realizes her mistakes later on, but I think she is very similar to me in that she wants to be positive about it, enjoy everything, and be cheerful with a smile on her face (laugh). So I feel that it is my destiny to be able to voice the character this time!
Asami Seto as Mirage Farina Genas: Mirage is a pilot belonging to the Delta Platoon, and I have the impression that she is serious and straightforward, as she has been fighting as her job since she was young. She is a girl with pride in herself who cannot tolerate anything crooked, but when she meets the bright and straightforward Freya and the free-spirited Hayate, she is a character that makes me wonder how she will change in the future.

Yuma Uchida as Hayate Immelmann: I am nervous because this is a new production of the "Macross" series, which has a long history, but I feel very honored to be able to participate in the work while recording.
