Summer anime "orange" unveils the first character setting (16 years old)! Designed by Yuki Nobuteru of "Apollo of the Slope" and "Space Battleship Yamato 2199

The first character setting (16 years old) from the TV anime "orange," which will start in the summer of 2016, has been released.


The anime "change" is based on the manga series by Ichigo Takano in the monthly Action magazine. It is a popular coming-of-age science fiction story that alternates between the present world and the world 10 years in the future. movie version released in December 2015 was a blockbuster hit, grossing over 3 billion yen at the box office. The anime version is directed by Hirotsugu Hamasaki of "STEINS;GATE" and "Terraformers," scripted by Yuko Kakihara of "Chihayafuru 2" and "Persona4 the ANIMATION," character design by Nobuteru Yuki of "Apollo of the Hill" and "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," and produced by TMS Entertainment and Telecom Animation Film.

The first character setting (16 years old) and character introduction text by Nobuteru Yuki have now been completed. The characters include: Naho Takamiya, a reserved character who puts others' happiness before her own and falls in love with Sho Naruse, a transfer student who transferred to the school on the first day of school; Sho Naruse, a transfer student who has a dark heart due to a certain incident; Hiroto Suwa, who is devoted to Naho and supports her and Sho's love; Azusa Mura, a mood-maker in the group whose family owns a bakery; and Azusa Saka, a young girl who has a strong sense of humor. The six main characters include Azusa Murazaka, who is the mood maker of the group; Saku Hagita, who is elusive and sometimes makes people feel at ease; and Takako Chino, who is cool at first glance but is an older sister who loves her friends.
