Poppin Q" is a completely original feature-length animated film produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Toei Animation. Toei Animation is handling the original story, which is a coming-of-age story about five adolescent girls who grow up through dance. Directed by Naoki Miyahara of "Dragon Ball Z" and "Pretty Cure All Stars DX 3D Theater," with original character design by Kohaku Kuroboshi of "Kino's Journey" series and character design and chief animation director Takayuki Uragami of "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Tools Museum". The cast includes Shiori Izawa, Arie Ozawa, Tomoyo Kurosawa, Asami Seto, and Atsumi Tanezaki.

The film's release date has been set for winter. In addition, a special trailer for theaters has been released.
