Comments from Hiroaki Hirata, who plays Leomon, were released from the anime film "Digimon Adventure tri.

Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest in the Digimon series of anime films, a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the film tells the story of the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, Hikari Yagami), including the main character Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student, after their growth. The story is depicted as a film in six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast will be renewed as the children grow up, but the first generation of Digimon partners will continue to be cast. The theme song will also be a newly recorded version of an existing song.

Chapter 1, "Reunion," was a blockbuster hit, grossing 230 million yen and attracting more than 146,000 viewers, and comments from Hiroaki Hirata, who plays Leomon, have arrived from Chapter 2, "Determination," which opens in 10 theaters nationwide on March 12. He talks about his impressions of playing Leomon and the impressive scenes. Hirata-san also narrates the second chapter, following the first chapter.

--Her impressions of the recording of Chapter 2, playing Leomon for the first time in a long time.
In the first chapter, I only narrated the beginning of the story, which left me feeling a bit short, but now that I will be appearing as Leomon in the second chapter, I am finally able to play an active role in the Digimon world! I was happy to finally be able to play an active role in the Digimon world! I felt like I had finally returned to my old home. Back then, when I played the role of Leomon, a strong warrior with muscles as muscular as ever, I played the role with as much of an image as I could muster, so when I played Leomon for the first time in a long time, I went into recording with the same enthusiasm as back then, only to be told that "Leomon is too austere". I was a little disappointed. I was a little disappointed, but I was able to play the role naturally without being overawed.

--Impressive scene in Chapter 2
In the battle scene with Ogamon, Leomon was as cool as he used to be, but in the scene where he was staying at home with Agumon and his friends, he looked like a kindergarten teacher, and I saw a new side of Leomon. I had a lot of fun playing with the Digimon cast, and I think that the scenes where they all get together and have fun will make his old fans happy. On the other hand, through Leomon's clumsiness and kindness toward the Digimon, I also felt a very human side to him, a sense of sadness and loneliness. That was one aspect I discovered while playing Leomon.

--What would you like to say to the fans who are looking forward to the second chapter?
The second chapter is a story that is very much like a Digimon story, as it depicts the growth and changes in the relationship between the partners. In the first chapter, I only narrated the story, but in the second chapter, I appeared as Leomon, one of my most famous characters in the Digimon series! Don't miss the activities of the melancholy Leomon! What role will he play in Chapter 3 and beyond? Please look forward to it!
