Brass Band Mystery Anime "Haruchika" collaborates with Shizuoka Prefecture where it is set!　Shimizu S-Pulse, Shimizu Bank, Shizuoka Railway/Taxi, Shimizu Port, etc.

From the TV anime "Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun suru" currently airing, a collaboration with Shizuoka Prefecture, where the story takes place, has been announced.

Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun suru" is an anime work based on the "Haruchika" series of short mystery novels written by Haru Hatsuno. It is a school mystery in which a childhood friend duo, flute player Chinatsu Homura and horn player Shunta Kamijo, who belong to a brass band on the verge of being discontinued, solve crimes that occur within the school, and is also a coming-of-age story about their attempt to compete in a national competition. The staff consists of Masakazu Hashimoto, director of "TARI TARI," Reiko Yoshida, series compositionist of "K-ON! series; character design by Namaniku ATK (Nitroplus) of "Chaika of the Coffin Princess"; and character design by Asako Nishida of "Love Live! Character design is by Asako Nishida of "Love Live! Animation production is by P.A.WORKS.

Since the story takes place in Shimizu, collaborations with companies in Shizuoka Prefecture have been decided. The collaboration includes character panels at various locations in Shizuoka City, collaborative commercials and posters with Shimizu Bank, events and collaborative goods sales at J2 professional soccer club Shimizu S-Pulse games, pilgrimage tours to sacred places, stamp rallies, and much more. The "Pilgrimage to the Holy Land" tour is a chartered sightseeing cab tour that takes participants to about 10 locations, including buildings and landscapes that appear in the anime, with Shizutetsu Taxi as a stopover. The "Uki Uki Walk," a booklet distributed at Shizuoka Railway stations, introduces the lands modeled after those in the anime as part of the "Haruchika Course. In addition, an exhibition will be held from March 15 to 25 at "Shizuchika," an underground information corner at the north exit of Shizuoka Station. A super-sized panel of the characters, art settings depicting the scenery of Shizuoka, and character setting drawings will be on display.
