The HDSEUF112C series of encrypted USB flash drives with keypad is available from Magnetic Laboratory!

The HDSEUF112C series of encrypted USB memory devices with a keypad for password input is now available from Magnetic Laboratory.

The lineup includes three models: the 8GB capacity model "HDSEUF112C8G2," the 16GB capacity model "HDSEUF112C16G2," and the 32GB capacity model "HDSEUF112C32G2.

The HDSEUF112C series is a security USB flash drive capable of encryption (AES 256-bit encryption method) by hardware alone. As mentioned above, the main unit is equipped with a keypad, and encrypted data can be accessed by entering a set password (6 to 15 digits).

In addition, the device has a function that automatically locks the device when it is removed from the PC, automatically resets the device including the internal data if the password is entered incorrectly 10 times, and destroys the chip inside when the device is dismantled, thus preventing information leakage even if the device is lost.

The data storage area is two-partition, and both models have a non-secure area of approximately 1GB.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 78.5 x 25 x 11 mm, weighs approximately 17.8 g, has a USB 2.0 interface, and uses the AES 256-bit hardware encryption method. Supported OS are Windows 10/8/7/Vista and Mac OS 10.4 or later. The main unit is also equipped with a battery for password storage, which is charged when connected to a PC. Note that the password itself is saved even if the battery runs out.
