Spring Anime "Mayoiga" Announces Third Key Visual! Additional cast members including Ai Kakuma

The third key visual and additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Mayoiga," which will start in April.


Mayoiga" is an original anime work by Dio Media and Pony Canyon. The director and sound director is Tsutomu Mizushima of "Girls und Panzer" and "SHIROBAKO," and the series composition is by "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. Mari Okada of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens," Naomi Ide of "Fleet of Armada" will be in charge of character design, and Katsu Yokoyama of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens" will provide music. The content is a suspenseful tale of human drama and conflict among 30 young men and women who join together on a shady bus tour in the uninhabited village of "Nornaru Village," deep in the mountains. The highlight of the film is the thrilling development of a mystery that leads to more mysteries.

The third key visual and additional cast members have been unveiled. Ayaka Shimizu plays Mai Mai, a 17-year-old student who confesses her love to a boy she likes and is crushed; Ai Kakuma plays Rabupon, a 15-year-old girl with a friction with her father; Konomi Tada plays Nanko, a 17-year-old detective with hidden talent and a slightly different way of looking at things than those around her; and 24-year-old Konomi Tada is on an elite course but is tired of seeing where it leads her. Yura Mikage, a 24-year-old trading company employee, is played by Yoshiaki Hasegawa, and Kosuke Miyoshi plays Jack, a 16-year-old boy who has a mysterious past and is treated like a tumor by his family. The new key visual continues to be a group illustration with the bus in the center.

In addition, the broadcast schedule has also been decided: MBS will air the series from 26:10 every Friday from April 8, TBS from 25:55 every Friday from April 8, CBC from midnight every Friday from April 8, BS-TBS from 24:00 every Saturday from April 9, and WOWOW from 22:30 every Friday from April 1 (with a rerun from 22:00 the following Friday).
